“What can I say? We challenged Dr. Bronsky with difficult mouths and your skill met the challenge head-on. You were sensitive to our different personalities and helped us stick with the process through to the final results.”

Early Treatment

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an initial evaluation by the age of seven. Why? Because it is the optimal time to evaluate skeletal development and to identify the position of the permanent teeth. Some maladies can be prevented at this time as well. Schedule an exam at our practice by calling (212) 758-0040. We have two locations in Manhattan.

Individual Care

Each child’s needs are unique. For some, it is best to begin treatment before all of the permanent teeth have come in – this is called Phase I / Interceptive Treatment. For others, it makes more sense to wait until the permanent teeth are fully erupted and the roots are completely formed.

In Good Time

Operating in a timely manner is important because it can improve the stability, function and aesthetics of the results while helping prevent problems down the road. A proper evaluation will help us create a seamless treatment with periodic monitoring.

The Benefits

  • Reduces the possibility of removing permanent teeth in order to correct overcrowding.
  • Lowers the risk of trauma to protruded front teeth and other malpositioned teeth.
  • Guides jaw growth and permanent teeth into more favorable positions.
  • Manages crowding and spacing problems.
  • Corrects harmful habits.
  • Improves appearance and self-esteem.
