"My son had a lot of anxiety about today's visit and your entire team did a great job of diffusing that with both friendliness and professionalism."

MJB Teaching at Cornell Medical Center:  1990-present:

Dr. Bronsky has been a Volunteer Attending (Teaching) Doctor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center for over 20 years.   His duties have included teaching General Practice Dental Residents and Oral Surgery Residents the role, practice, and function of orthodontic therapy, specifically as it relates to treatment of complex cases requiring a combination of orthodontics and orthognathic surgery to correct severe deformities of the face, jaws, and teeth.   For Dr. Bronsky, teaching  is a “labor of love” carried with him from his days at the “Dentofacial Deformities Center” at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during his orthodontic residency.  It is also a way to “give back” to the dental community and the New York based patients in need of these complex services.

Dr. Bronsky has also volunteered his time and expertise as a member of the Dentofacial Deformities Teams at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center, and The Elmhurst Hospital Center.  Dr. Bronsky was the Director of the Dentofacial Deformities Program at Beth Israel Medical Center until the hospital closed the Dental Department.

Dentofacial Deformites (DFD) Program at Cornell Medical Center:

Drs. Bronsky, Matos, and Moon comprise the Orthodontic Team participating in The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center Dentofacial Deformities Program.  Dr. Samuel Rhee, a Plastic Surgeon and Dentofacial Deformities Specialist has created this program by assembling a team of committed practitioners in the fields of Plastic Surgery, Neurology, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Medical Genetics, Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Speech, Language, and Hearing Specialists, and Social Workers to provide care to a group of patients presenting with the most severe developmental facial problems that exist.    (Drs. Bronsky, Matos, and Moon treat many of these patients pro bono  in their practice—using their skills to help these patients attain more normal physiologic function and psychosocial acceptance.)

New York Medical Reserve Corps (NYMRC):

Dr. Bronsky has been a Voluntary Emergency Medical Practitioner in  The New York Medical Reserve Corps since the days immediately following the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington on 09/11/2001.   The Bureau of Emergency Management continually provides training courses in all aspects of Emergency Management and Dr. Bronsky has maintained his commitment as a “First Responder” for the Bureau.  Dr. Bronsky feels that it is his duty to help protect the public whenever “called up” to do so though he hopes that the opportunity never arises again!!

The New York Dental-Medical Collaborative:

The New York Dental-Medical Collaborative consists of leading Dental Specialists that have been teaching together as Attending Dentists in the Division of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center for over 20 years.  The NYDMC doctors serve the Weill Cornell Medical Community as dental liaisons and treating dental practitioners for physicians, their families, and their patients that require comprehensive dental care.
